In testing a black dashboard two hours after application both sprays showed an improvement in color of 11 - 12 %. After 9 weeks, Velind Dashboard Care´s product proved to be more effective in maintaining color and considered more effective in controlling dust build up and static than Sonax Dashboard Care.
It was determined that on ABS synthetic surfaces Sonax removed the dirt better than Velind. The Sonax product left a little less residue than the Velind product. Both products showed no significant differences in further tests.
Both were easy to apply and were comparable in shine and all other aspects. Furthermore both spray did not affect the material on comparable surfaces.
